Chuka
A Hermes Agent app
Chuka is a Google Workspace app that connects your Google account to Hermes, a personal automation agent that helps manage email, calendar, and routine tasks on your behalf. This page describes the app for the purposes of Google's OAuth verification and app review.
What This App Does
Chuka requests limited access to your Google account (such as Gmail and Calendar scopes) so that the Hermes agent can read relevant messages and events, draft responses, and carry out routine actions you've authorized. Access is used only to perform the tasks you configure and is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Hermes Agent
Hermes is a personal AI agent that runs continuously in the background, watching for actionable items across connected accounts and services. It uses an LLM-backed decision layer to decide when to act, when to draft something for review, and when to leave a task alone.
LunaRoute
On the backend, Hermes routes its language-model requests through LunaRoute, a model-routing layer that selects the appropriate model for each task based on cost, latency, and complexity. This lets Hermes use lighter models for routine work and stronger models when a task warrants it.
Hosting & Infrastructure
Chuka and the Hermes agent are hosted on a dedicated Vultr VPS, isolated from other services and reachable only over authenticated, encrypted connections. No credentials or account data are shared with third parties beyond what's required to operate the Service.
